SECURITY
Security is one of our top priorities when it comes to designing your roller garage door. We ensure that the contents of your garage are kept safe by using only the highest quality materials, meaning your door will do much more than add an attractive feature to your driveway.
Each slat that is used to make the curtain of the garage are manufactured from aluminium, an extremely strong yet lightweight material. For extra security, the bottom slat is held in place using solid end locks that help to stop the door from being forced out of place.
Our patented auto-locking system comprises a 70m octagonal barrel that attaches to the top lath. This barrel can withstand far more force than the traditional round barrel you will find in most garage doors.
CONTROLS
Our roller garage doors offer you the extra benefit of being electric,which gives you the ability to operate them from them remotely at the touch of a button from inside your car. The remote control provided has been developed in a way which eliminates the risk of it being cloned, so you can rest assured that you, your car, and your property are fully secure.
One of the features included on your remote control is a “Hold to Run”, known by some as a “Dead Man’s Switch”. This feature means the system will only work when pressing the up or down button on the remote, and will cease any movement when the button is released. We also offer the option to include an additional feature which means your door will automatically stop if it hits an obstacle.
As standard there are a few extra features inclusive in your quote. When your electric garage door is installed, you will also receive 2 wireless remote controls, a wired push button fixed directly onto your garage wall, as well as an emergency hand cranks system. This precautionary feature will enable you to operate the door without power. To ensure maximum longevity for your garage door, we only use the very best quality components.
THERMAL EFFICIENCY
We specialise in providing much more than your standard garage door. We understand the importance of insulating your door to minimise the heat lost, especially through the colder months. Our range of doors come fully insulated to keep your garage and home warm.
The slats used in every garage door in our range are insulated using CFC free foam which is renowned for increasing thermal efficiency as well as insulating against sound! For extra thermal protection, the bottom slat is fitted with a rubber seal, preventing any drafts or water entering your garage and causing possible damage to your possessions in comparison to a traditional garage door.
SLAT OPTIONS
Anti-corrosive, abrasion resistant paint is applied to the slats to ensure that all Garolla products stay looking new for as long as possible. Our doors are extremely low maintenance and easy to clean, wipe down with mild soapy water from time to time (please do not use a jet wash on them)!
There are 21 different shutter colours to choose from in our range of roller garage doors, and you also have the option to design your door with a realistic wood-grain effect.
Keeping in mind the fact that garages come in all shapes and sizes, we have made sure to provide a selection of doors that fit a variation of garages. The slat sizes that we offer are 55mm and 77mm.
